Seating Innovations' original designs were patented in the late 1950's and early 1960's. As an original inventor of suspended seating, Carling Allen looked for ways to improve the quality of life and designed products to last a lifetime. From those early inventions, Seating Innovations has continued to refine and improve it's product design and manufacturing.
